The share of manufacturing industry in the economy of Kazakhstan reached 30%

Realization of the State Program of Industrialization gives real results - the First Vice Minister for Investments and Development Alik Aidarbayev shared this opinion with journalists within the framework of the press conference following the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He noted that the goal of the State Program of Industrialization is diversification of production and growth of the manufacturing sector.

"Our economy, you know, needs diversification. This program has been implemented for several years. The results are obvious. Every year the growth of the manufacturing industry is visible," the Vice Minister stressed.

So, today the share of manufacturing in GDP is 12%, and in the economy as a whole is 30%. As arguments, A. Aidarbayev cited new jobs, increased output of industry and a corresponding increase in the country's overall share.
