Today Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Kazakhstan Francis Etienne in Ukimet Uyi.

 

During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation in the economic, cultural, humanitarian and interregional spheres. In addition, the results of the implementation of a number of bilateral projects and plans for further strengthening of cooperation between the countries were discussed.

More than 130 enterprises with participation of French capital work in Kazakhstan, among them: Total, Areva, Danone, Vicat, Peugeot, Alstom, etc. The trade turnover between the countries amounted to $1.97 billion in 7 months of this year, which is 1.4 times more than in the same period of 2016.
