During the trip, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the infrastructure and socio-cultural facilities, as well as industrial enterprises in the region. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

During the working trip, the Head of State got acquainted with the activity of one of the shops at the Aktobe ferroalloy plant of KazChrome Transnational Company JSC specializing in manufacturing ferroalloys, Aktobe Rail-Belt Plant LLP realized in the framework of the state program of industrial-innovative development.

Also, the President of Kazakhstan visited “Greenhouse Kazakhstan” greenhouse complex, where he was informed about the opportunities of this project to supply vegetables for the whole region, as well as export of vegetable products to the countries of near and far abroad.

Then Nursultan Nazarbayev was acquainted with the progress of constructing a prefabricated one-storey and two-storeyed credit dwelling in Nur Aktobe residential area.

The President emphasized the importance of implementing the housing program "Nurly Zher" for the country’s population.

"This program is of great importance in improving the well-being of the people. Our main goal lies in creating necessary infrastructure for comfortable living of citizens and ensure their employment," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

During the visit, the region’s akim Berdybek Saparbayev reported to the Head of State on the progress of "Nurly Zhol" and "Nurly Zher" State Programs, within the framework of which this year it is planned to provide housing for more than 1000 families of the region.

In addition, the Head of State inspected the new center of arts built at the expense of the financial resources of JSC CNPC-Aktobemunaigas, the new center Zhubanovtar Alemy, built to promote the creative heritage of the outstanding personalities of the Zhubanov dynasty and education of creatively gifted children, and also visited the Academy of Creative Activities, built within the program of development of social responsibility of business.

Also, Nursultan Nazarbayev turn the attention on the specifics of the modernization process within the framework of the program article "Ruhani zhangyu".

"The world is changing rapidly, and we are already among these changes. New sciences are emerging, a new understanding of things is being formed. All the reforms, including the modernization of public consciousness, are being done to prepare our generation for this future," the President said.

N. Nazarbayev emphasized that Aktobe, along with Astana, Almaty and Shymkent should become a source of innovation and a factor of attraction of production, financial and human resources.

"Over the years of independence, the population of Aktobe region has doubled. In order to increase this indicator, entire microdistricts and the necessary infrastructure are built here. All conditions are created. We continue to build houses, roads, supply gas and water. Also, the whole Kazakhstan will be covered by a network of roads. This is the development, including human development," the Head of State summed up.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan wished the residents of the region health, well-being and success for the prosperity of the country.
