During the Government meeting the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev heard reports on the current situation in the fuel and solid fuel markets and reminded the heads of state agencies and regions of personal responsibility for the state of affairs in the entrusted industries.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev heard the reports of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev and the Chairman of the Board of JSC NC “KazMunaiGas” Sauat Mynbayev on the deficit in the fuel market, as well as the Akim of Karaganda region Yerlan Koshanov and the Astana Akim Asset Issekeshev on the coal market situation, which has also formed the queue. The Prime Minister instructed Askar Mamin to keep the issue of coal supply under control.

B. Sagintayev drew the attention of all ministers and akims to the fact that they bear full personal responsibility for the state of affairs in the entrusted industries and regions. To do this, the leaders are given all the necessary powers and resources. Also Bakytzhan Sagintayev emphasized that officials should not shift responsibility for their work to the population.

Based on the results of consideration of these issues, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev took a number of disciplinary and personnel measures against the persons responsible for the situation on the domestic fuel market in Kazakhstan.
