As previously reported, a representative delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov arrived in Astana today. The visit took place on the initiative of the Kyrgyz side as a result of the telephone conversation that took place the day before.
The meetings of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev and the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov were held in a narrow and extended format, during which issues related to border, transportation, phytosanitary and veterinary control, customs and tax administration, taking into account the relevant rules and regulations of the EAEU and WTO.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev emphasized that: "As the President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev repeatedly noted, the relations of the two fraternal states should be exemplary in all respects and become an example of effective and mutually beneficial cooperation in the region."
In his turn, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov informed that an impressive delegation has arrived from Kyrgyzstan.
"I am committed to constructive work as the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan," S. Isakov said.
As a result of negotiations, the parties agreed, from 00:00 of October 19, to provide priority order for crossing the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border for individuals with personal luggage, regular passenger buses, cars, empty cargo vehicles.

In addition, a decision was made to set up a working group chaired by the First Deputy Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to prepare a joint Roadmap on topical issues of bilateral economic relations.
