Today during the regular meeting of the EIGC in Yerevan, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan commented on measures to enhance control at the border with Kyrgyzstan.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that the dynamics of imports of goods from China to the EAEU states indicates its decline in all countries except Kyrgyzstan, which shows an insufficient level of customs administration on the part of the Kyrgyz Republic. In this regard, the enhancement of control at the border of Kazakhstan is aimed exclusively at identifying violations of cargo carriers.
