Within the framework of State Support of AIC, plan of transition from subsidies to concessional lending is approved — MA RK

Today at the briefing following the Government meeting, Vice Ministers of Agriculture answered questions from journalists about the mechanisms of state support for the AIC, the plan for switching from subsidy to concessional lending, and the drafting of a new bill on personal subsidiary plots.

First Vice Minister of Agriculture, Kairat Aituganov said that within the framework of the State Program for AIC Development for 2017-2021, the Ministry of Agriculture developed the Maps for the Development of Priority Areas of Agriculture and Improvement of State Support for the AIC.

The project of the Agricultural Science Modernization Map has approved a phased plan for transition from subsidy to concessional lending. Thus, in order to increase the effectiveness of subsidies and increase coverage by state support measures of AIC subjects, 65 types of subsidies have been revised this year. 11 ineffective subsidies have been excluded, 40 — have changed the criteria.

Within the framework of the second stage, the issue of transition from subsidies to affordable and refundable loans with the maximum coverage of agricultural producers is under consideration. Preliminarily, 15 types of subsidies for credit replacement have been identified. At the same time, 24 billion tenge will be released annually.

Recall, today at the meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, further measures were taken to improve state support for agriculture.
