Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting with representatives of Shell

Today in Astana, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with representatives of the Royal Dutch Shell headed by the Executive Director, Ben Van Beurden.

Issues of cooperation and implementation of joint projects with Shell in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan were discussed during the meeting.

For reference: The Dutch-British energy concern Shell is one of the participants on the North Caspian Sea Production Sharing Agreement (NCSPSA), signed on November 18, 1997.

In the contract area, under the NCSPSA, the deposits of Kashagan, Kalamkas-Sea, Aktoty, Kairan and South-West Kashagan are located.
