PSPI Rector: Projects of the university presented at Expo-2017 interested scientists from Russia, Belarus, Mongolia and China

Rector of the Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Altynbek Nukhuly, told today at a press conference in the press center of the Government about the application of new scientific methods and technologies presented at Expo-2017.

As the rector noted, at the Expo-2017, about 100 students of the PSPI were involved as volunteers, who received extensive teamwork experience, skills of intercultural and interethnic interaction. At the expense of the institute, 450 people visited the exhibition, where they got acquainted with the latest achievements of science and technology.

"It should be noted that participation in Expo-2017 allowed us to develop new areas of research. A number of projects of our scientists, which were presented at the exhibition, interested scientists from Russia, Belarus, Mongolia, and China. Contacts with representatives of the US universities have been established. The signed agreements on mutual cooperation with the Universities of Mississippi Valley State University, University of California, San Diego will promote the transfer of technology, joint research, as well as the implementation of academic mobility for students," A. Nukhuly said.

According to the speaker, cooperation with the University of Texas has also been established. The study of 4H, FFA programs aimed at the development of entrepreneurship in agriculture is being conducted. On the basis of PSPI, a pilot project of these programs will be implemented.

Today, the accelerator program of 17 social startups for students and teaching staff has been opened at the Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute. The project "Creation of an ecosystem of youth entrepreneurship in the youth environment" is being implemented jointly with the Association of Tel-Aviv University in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The project "Development of technology of industrial production of biologically enriched product based on natural strains of the tea fungus" was commercialized. The Certificate of Accreditation of Altyn Batyr Company LLP was obtained. 10 contracts for the implementation of this project have been concluded.
