More than 19 million social services provided in 2017 ­– S. Zhakupova

Today, during the briefing in the press center of the Government, Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Svetlana Zhakupova told about the digitalization of the social and labor sphere.

As the Vice Minister noted, comprehensive work is currently underway to digitize the social and labor sphere. In total, 10 information systems are integrated among themselves and form the Unified Information System of the social and labor sphere. To date, about 14.5 million records and personal data of Kazakhstanis are concentrated in this system.

Among the information systems that accompany a person from birth throughout his life, special importance can be given to the payment processing organization, through which payments are handled through a state corporation. These are mandatory pension contributions, social contributions, payments from the republican budget.

Also, business processes of services have been automated, which are rendered in the regions at the level of akimats: appointment of targeted social assistance, provision of special social services.

"Literally, one and a half months ago we launched an electronic labor exchange, which united the interests of job seekers and employers on one digital platform. During this time, more than 15 thousand people were employed," the vice minister said.

According to S. Zhakupova, the introduction of a unified labor exchange will make it possible to double the percentage of job seekers to 20% by 2025 from the current 10% of the total number of people in need of employment.

In general, over 19 million services have been provided over the past 10 months, including 3.2 million through the eGov portal.
