Today in Ukimet Uyi, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with representatives of the Kazakh-Turkish Businessmen Association (TUKIB) led by the Chairman of the Board of the Association, owner of Eksen Group, Firat Develioglu.
During the meeting, issues of strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the business structures of the two countries and the implementation of new joint investment projects in Kazakhstan were discussed.

For reference: Turkey maintains its position as a priority investment partner of Kazakhstan.
According to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from 2005 to April 2017, gross inflow of direct investments from Turkey to Kazakhstan amounted to $2.1 billion.
Commodity turnover between the two countries for January-June of 2017 amounted to $925.1 million, of which exports - $563.3 million and imports - $361.8 million.
In 2015, the Action Plan of the Joint Economic Program "New Synergy" for 2012-2015 was implemented. In accordance with the plan, the activities of Turkish companies in the investment and economic segment of cooperation intensified, and Kazakh-Turkish industrial zones were created in Kazakhstan.
TUKIB was founded in early 2016, in the year of the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan and establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
Being a business association, TUKIB promotes further strengthening of trade, industrial and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Turkey, strengthens business contacts and cooperation between Turkish and Kazakh entrepreneurs, advises entrepreneurs and companies on issues related to their areas of activity, and strengthens socio-cultural ties between the two countries.
