The main events of the week are from 4 to 10 December 2017.

An important event of the past week was the holding of the Industrialization Day in Astana with the participation of N. Nazarbayev, within the framework of which the national teleconference "New Industrialization of the Country: Leap of the Kazakh Snow Leopard" was held. After the presentation of the Industrialization Map projects, the President presented the awards to the winners of the Paryz and Altyn Sapa prizes.

On the same day, the Head of State took part in the ceremony of taking the oath by Lord Harry Kenneth Woolf, chairman of the court of the Astana International Financial Center.

In addition, last week, a solemn event was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the transfer of the capital of Kazakhstan to Astana. The Head of State held a meeting with the first builders of the capital and visited the photo exhibition "President and Astana".

Bakytzhan Sagintayev also took part in the above-mentioned events. As part of the Industrialization Day, the Prime Minister awarded the winners of the Paryz and Altyn Sapa prizes. Representatives of state bodies and national companies awarded the winners of the prizes "Isker", "Uly Dala Eli" and the contest "The Best Commodity of Kazakhstan".

On Monday, December 4, during the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstannchaired by the Prime Minister, the draft State Program "Digital Kazakhstan", the issues of digitization of the customs and tax authorities of the country, the development of the AIFC and the measures taken to provide medicines for the population were considered.

December 5, Astana hosted a large-scale forum with participation of large foreign investors, Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable. Within the framework of the event, B. Sagintayev spoke at the plenary session and held a number of bilateral meetings with the forum participants.

On Thursday, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting of the National Commission on the translation of the Kazakh alphabet into Latin script.

On the same day in Ukimet Uyi, B. Sagintayev met with the UN Resident Coordinator - Resident Representative of UNDP in Kazakhstan, Norimasa Shimomura, Director of the Representative Office of the Asian Development Bank in Kazakhstan, Giovanni Capannelli, as well as representatives of the Association of Turkish Businessmen headed by the Chairman, Fyrat Develioglu.

Also last week, B. Sagintayev discussed with the Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, Wolfgang Büchel, the expansion of trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Germany and the promotion of new investment projects in various sectors of Kazakhstan's economy.

On Friday, December 8, in Ukimet Uyi, the Prime Minister chaired a meeting of the Managing Committee of the Autonomous Cluster Fund "Park of Innovative Technologies".
