Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting on implementation of Nurly Zher Program

Today in Ukimet Uyi, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the implementation of the Housing Construction Program "Nurly Zher".

During the meeting, issues of improving mechanisms for implementing the Housing Construction Program "Nurly Zher" and expanding measures to stimulate mortgage lending were discussed.

For reference: The Nurly Zher program started in the country on January 1, 2017.

In total, in 2017, in compliance with to the Nurly Zher program, it is planned to commission 10.1 million square meters of housing or about 99,000 dwellings, of which 22 545 thousand apartments or about 1.5 million square meters to be built at the expence of state investments.

To date, the annual plan of the Nurly Zher has been fulfilled by 87.1% (8.8 million square meters or about 77 thousand apartments).

In 10 months of this year, there has been a steady growth in the pace of housing construction.

A total of 76,743 dwellings were commissioned in the republic, including 24,075 IHC (3.7 million square meters) and 56,668 dwellings in the youth residential complexes (5.1 million square meters).

Of all sources, 744.8 billion tenge was invested in housing construction, which is 15.9% more than in the same period in 2016, of which 120 billion tenge is state investments.
