Today, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev presented the new Chairman of the Management Board, Aidar Arifkhanov, elected by the decision of the Board of Directors, to the staff of JSC "National Managing Holding “Baiterek”.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev outlined a number of tasks that the Holding faces to the new leadership, among which the achievement of the goals set by the Head of State, as well as the efficient performance of the function of the financial operator of state and government programs of industrial and innovative development, Nurly Zhol, the Business Roadmap and Nurly Zher.

Aidar Arifkhanov was born in 1974. In 1995, he graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management, in 2008 - Columbia University. By specialty - economist, master of public administration.

He began his labor activity in 1996 in the structure of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2004-2006 he held the post of vice-minister of finance.

In 2006-2017, he held various positions: Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office, Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Adviser to the Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Informatization and Communications, Managing Director of Kazakhtelecom JSC, Deputy Chairman of the Board of NAC "Kazatomprom".

In 2015-2017 he worked as the Vice-Minister of National Economy.

From January 2017 to the present, he held the post of Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "NMH "Baiterek". Over the past three months, he served as chairman of the board.

For reference: Baiterek NMH was established in 2013 to actively attract investment through a significant increase in the share of non-government sources of financing for economic diversification and improving the quality of governance of national development institutions. The Board of Directors is headed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
