Prime Minister of Kazakhstan B. Sagintayev met with Prime Minister of Armenia K. Karapetyan in Almaty

Today in Almaty within the framework of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council Meeting, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Karen Karapetyan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral economic cooperation in the field of introducing digital technologies and implementing joint projects.

For reference: For January-November 2017, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Armenia totaled $5.4 million. The main products exported by Kazakhstan to Armenia are accumulators, lifts and tire jacks, parts of motor vehicles, petroleum gases and hydrocarbons, pumps. Today, 268 enterprises with the participation of Armenian capital successfully operate in Kazakhstan.

The opening of the Yerevan-Astana flight in June 2017 promotes the development of interaction in business and in the field of tourism.
