Today in Almaty, opening the international forum Digital Agenda in the Era of Globalization, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev read out the Welcome Address of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the Forum participants.

"Dear forum participants, I welcome you at the forum Digital Agenda in the Era of Globalization. The world is entering an era of rapid and dramatic technological change.

Effective digitalization is becoming a key factor for the accelerated development of national economies and the growth of the quality of life of the population. Leading countries of the world, their associations, such as the G-20 and the European Union, have adopted their Strategic Documents on digitization. Our Eurasian Economic Union also adopted the Digital Agenda until 2025.

Today's Forum is an important step in the implementation of this agenda. The presence of a common market requires the development of joint approaches and measures in matters of digitalization. The unification of efforts will provide a synergetic effect for the development of the EAEU in general and of each country separately. I am confident that this event will allow us to work out the necessary solutions and will promote the deepening of cooperation. I wish fruitful work and success in achieving the set goals to all the participants of the Forum," the letter of the Head of State says.

Recall that today in Almaty, within the framework of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the forum of the EAEU, Digital Agenda in the Era of Globalization, initiated by the Head of State N. Nazarbayev is being held.

For reference: The main objective of the Forum is to develop joint measures that will accelerate the development of the digital economies of the EAEU countries, increasing their competitiveness, and also on the basis of country advantages and regional integration transformation, to work out ways for the subsequent receipt of dividends.
