The main events of the week from 19 to 24 March 2018.

On March 21, a solemn event dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz Meiramy with the participation of the Head of State N. Nazarbayev was held in Astana. Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated all Kazakhstani people on the holiday, noting that this celebration became a symbol of the inseparable connection of generations and the deep continuity of the traditions and culture of the people.

On March 20, a regular meeting of the Government was held in Ukimet Uyi under the chairmanship of Bakytzhan Sagintayev. Questions on the results of the implementation in 2017 of Densaulyq State Healthcare Development Program and State Program for the AIC Development and the preparations for the spring field works in 2018 were considered.

Following the meeting of the Government, a briefing was held at the press center. Minister of Healthcare, Y. Birtanov, told journalists about the pilot project of paperless management of medical records and other work carried out within the digitalization of the medical system.

Also this week, the Prime Minister held a meeting on amendments to the bills in the field of social security and intellectual property.
