The main events of the week from 26 to 31 March, 2018.

On Monday, March 26, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the execution of the Road Map as part of the implementation of the President’s Five Social Initiatives of March 5, 2018. Issues of construction of the Saryarka main gas trunkline to gasify the central and northern regions of the country along the route Kyzylorda – Zhezkazgan – Karaganda – Temirtau – Astana were discussed.

On the same day, Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zurab Pololikashvili.

On March 27 the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a regular meeting of the Government in Ukimet Uyi. The results of the implementation of the State Program for Industrial and Innovative Development of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019 (based on the results of 2017), the State Program for the Development and Functioning of Languages ​​in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020, and the implementation and operation of the state urban cadaster were discussed.

Also this week Bakytzhan Sagintayev held meetings on civil aviation development and post-exhibition use of Astana Expo-2017 facilities.

On March 28—29, on the instructions of the Head of State N.Nazarbayev, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the South Kazakhstan and Kyzylorda regions. The purpose of the trip was to familiarize with the implementation of the Addresses "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness", "New Opportunities Under the Fourth Industrial Revolution" and the President’s Five Social Initiatives.

On Friday, March 30, the Prime Minister B. Sagintayev held a meeting on legislative support for the implementation of the Five Social Initiatives of the President.

On the same day, Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting in Ukimet Uyi on the ongoing work and plans for the current year to achieve target indicators of the Government’s project management. The issues of digitalization and technological re-equipment of the economy were discussed.

Also on March 30, the meetings of the Board of Directors of Samruk-Kazyna SWF JSC and the Interdepartmental Commission for the Oil and Gas Industry were held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister B. Sagintayev.
On Saturday, March 31, Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the application of international experience in the digitization of the country's economy.
