Today in Ukimet Uyi the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a working meeting on the achievement of the target indicators to develop the economy of the regions for 2018.

During the meeting, akim of Astana, A. Issekeshev, Akmola region, M. Murzalin and North-Kazakhstan region, K. Aksakalov reported on the work done for the first quarter of this year and plans for 2018 for the development of economic sectors, industrialization, technological renewal and digitalization, investment attraction, and productive employment.

Regarding the development of the capital, the focus was on tourism, trade, mass entrepreneurship, investment attraction and productive employment, including the modernization of labor market infrastructure and labor mobility.

The areas of work of the regions were focused on the development of agribusiness, tourism, healthcare, education, mass entrepreneurship, as well as industrialization, productive employment, financial sustainability, technological renewal and digitalization of the economy.

The Ministers of National Economy, T. Suleimenov, Finance, B. Sultanov, Healthcare, Y. Birtanov, Culture and Sports, A. Mukhamediuly, Labor and Social Protection of the Population, M. Abylkassymova, First Vice Minister for Investments and Development, R. Sklyar, and Vice Minister of Agriculture, G. Issayev, took part in the discussions during the meeting.
