Today in Astana, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the V International Exhibition of Weapons Systems and Military Equipment KADEX-2018.

A special emphasis of the exhibition, which has become traditional since 2010, was on development of the electronic system and communications and armament management system.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev and participants of the exhibition discussed the prospects for establishing and developing mutually beneficial contacts between producers and consumers of defense industry, organizing joint production and modernization of weapons and equipment.

 

For reference: 144 exhibits of weapons and military equipment of domestic and foreign manufacturers (a total of 318 companies from 28 countries) are presented at KADEZ-2018, of which there are 20 exhibits of aviation equipment (6 helicopters, 10 aircraft, 2 UAVs), 124 — land equipment. The exhibition was visited by official delegations from 48 countries.

In the Kazakhstan pavilion of the exhibition, there are 13 enterprises of domestic engineering. The products were demonstrated by Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering LLP, Kazakhstan Aviation Industry LLP, Tynys JSC, Ural Plant Zenit JSC, Research Institute “Hydropribor,” ZIKSTO JSC, S.M. Kirov Machine-Building Plant JSC, Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering LLP, Petropavlovsk Plant of Heavy Machine Building JSC, Semey Engineering JSC, Kazakhstan Engineering R & D Center and Kamaz Engineering JSC.
