Meeting on SME development and digitalization held in Ukimet Uyi

Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the development of SME, manufacturing industry and the digitization of entrepreneurship.

In the course of the meeting, measures on further development of favorable conditions for doing business, increase competitiveness, including through interaction with digital technologies were discussed. Also, the Prime Minister paid attention to the current situation and prospects for the development of manufacturing industry in the country.

Ministers of National Economy T. Suleimenov, for Investments and Development Z. Kassymbek and Chairman of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs A. Myrzakhmetov delivered reports on the agenda.

First Deputy Prime Minister A. Mamin, Deputy Prime Minister E. Dossaev also took part in the discussion.

Today the business can use more than 50 support instruments, implemented under various state and government programs, a strong system of institutional support for entrepreneurship has been established, such as business service centers, public service centers, investor service centers, business support centers, etc. According to the operative statistical data, as of 1 June 2018, 1,569,030 SMEs were registered in the Republic, as compared to the same period in 2017, the growth was 34,194 or 2.2%.
