Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting of the Board of Baiterek Holding

July 19 in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the joint stock company National Managing Holding Baiterek.

At the meeting, the holding's annual report for 2017 was approved, including information on the implementation of State and Government programs, financial results, significant events of the holding in the reporting period and the activities of subsidiaries.

Baiterek Holding was created by the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan in 2013 in order to optimize the management system of development institutions, financial organizations and the development of the national economy. The holding unites 11 subsidiary companies under its supervision.

The board of directors also approved the conclusion of transactions with the Joint-Stock Company Development Bank of Kazakhstan — budgetary credits for financing the projects of the State Program for Industrial and Innovative Development of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019, as well as for the implementation of leasing of buses, tractors and combines in support of domestic producers.

In addition, the board of directors approved reports on the implementation of the holding's development plan and the annual budget for 2017.
