Kanat Shukunev appointed deputy head of Presidential Affairs Department of Kazakhstan

July 19, by the order of the Head of State Kanat Shukunev was appointed deputy head of the Presidential Affairs Department of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

Kanat Shukunev was born in 1981 in the city of Tselinograd.

He graduated from the Akmola branch of the Kazakh Academy of Labor and Social Relations with a degree in Law, Turan Astana University with bachelor's degree in finance, received his master's degree in Lomonosov Moscow State University.

He worked in the Presidential Affairs Department of Kazakhstan (2004-2008). He was the head of the sector, deputy head of the Official Events and External Relations Office of the Presidential Affairs Department (2008-2013); head of the Official Events and External Relations Office of the Presidential Affairs Department of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2013-2017).

Prior to his appointment, he worked as head of Administration of the Akim of Akmola Region (from June 26, 2017).
