By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nukenov Abzal Nukenovich was relieved of his post as vice minister for religious affairs and civil society of the Republic of Kazakhstan, according to the application.

Recall, in accordance with the decree of the Head of State № 707 of 28.06.2018 "On measures to further improve the system of public administration of Kazakhstan," the Ministry for Religious Affairs and Civil Society was renamed the Ministry of Social Development. The new agency was given the functions and powers of the Ministry of Culture and Sports to implement state policy in the sphere of public consent.

The mission of the Ministry of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the formation of constructive state-confessional relations, the strengthening of stability, the development of an effective system of partnership between the state and civil society institutions, the development and effective implementation of state youth and family policies.
