Nursultan Nazarbayev visits Tomotherapy and Nuclear Medicine Centre

The Head of State got acquainted with the new building of Tomotherapy and Nuclear Medicine Centre, and also viewed TomoTherapyHI-HD installation, which cures oncology diseases by means of more accurate and high-quality irradiation based on individual characteristics of each patient. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

During the conversation with the medical institution’s staff, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the importance of introducing modern scientific approaches in the cancer diagnosis and treatment.

In addition, the President of Kazakhstan was informed about the activities of new enterprises specializing in manufacturing medical equipment and preparations.

The specialized equipment of the Centre for Tomotherapy and Nuclear Medicine allows us to significantly optimize and improve the process and quality of treatment according to international standards and organize further medical assistance to cancer patients from other countries.
