Bakytzhan Sagintayev meets with Upstream Director of Royal Dutch Shell Andy Brown

October 2 in Ukimet Uyi the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting with representatives of the Royal Dutch Shell Concern headed by Mr. Andy Brown, Shell’s director of exploration and production.

At the meeting, some issues of Shell’s activities in Kazakhstan were discussed, including under projects for the development of the Karachaganak and Northern Caspian fields.

In Kazakhstan, the English-Dutch energy concern Shell is involved in four projects: the Northern Caspian Production Sharing Agreement, the final production sharing agreement of the Karachaganak field, the Production Sharing Agreement for the development of the Pearls license area and the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

The company operates in various business segments, including geological exploration, oil and gas production, transportation of hydrocarbons and marketing of petroleum products.
