Askar Mamin presents state awards to residents of Kostanay region and opens new production in the region

On Dec. 9, 2021, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin made a working trip to Kostanay region, where he launched a new production and presented state awards to the residents of the region.

In his speech at the solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mamin noted that the Kostanay region, having a high agricultural and industrial potential, makes a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the whole country.

Since 1991, the gross regional product has grown 10 times. The country's industrialization program made it possible to organize in the region the production of dozens of new types of products with high added value that had not been produced before. These are cars and trucks, buses, rolled metal products. More than 60% of automotive products are in the Kostanay region. Agricultural engineering projects are developing dynamically. The production of a wide range of tractors, combines and other agricultural machinery has been launched.

“Your region is rightfully considered the most important region for ensuring the country's food security. At the end of 2020, the share of the region in the gross agricultural output of the republic amounted to more than 9% or 574 billion tenge. The region ranks first in the country for the production of flour (737 thousand tons), the second — for butter, milk and cream (5.7 thousand tons), the third — for the production of cereals (6 thousand tons),” Mamin said.

The region is actively modernizing its transport infrastructure, building kindergartens, schools and medical and sports facilities. Over the years of Independence, more than 6.2 million square meters of housing have been built.

As part of the development of the region's potential until 2025, it is planned to implement more than 100 significant investment projects totaling over 2 trillion tenge in such promising industries as mechanical engineering, food production, agro-industrial complex, energy, mining and metallurgy, etc.

In accordance with the Decree of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin presented state awards to the heads and workers of agricultural and industrial enterprises, civil servants, employees of the spheres of education and science, health care, the media and entrepreneurs of the Kostanay region on the occasion of Independence Day.

Dostyk Order of the II Degree was awarded to Sergei Zhalybin, Director of the Research Center of Economics and Law of the Kostanay Social and Technical University named after Academician Zulharnai Aldamjar.

The Order of Parasat was awarded to Sabit Agaydarov, Director of Ershovskoe-2 LLP, Vyacheslav Dudnik, Adviser to the Head of Tobol Socio-Entrepreneurial Corporation, Abai Mukanov, Director of Aluminstroy LLP.

Qurmet Order was presented to Akim of the city of Arkalyk Amirkhan Asanov, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Kostanay tany" Zhanuzak Ayazbekov, advisor to the rector of the Kostanay regional university named after Baitursynov Rimma Bekturganova, director of Berkut LLP Sergey Bublik, head of the sector of the Center for Innovative Development of Legal Science and Practice Aman Mizanbaev, Chair of the Board of Komarovskoe Mining Enterprise Igor Nikolishin, head of the farm Baimyrza Sataev, chief engineer of Altynsarino LLP Vitaly Shushpannikov, Deputy Chair of the Kostanay Regional Election Commission Serala Akhmetov.

The Order of Enbek Danqy of the III Degree was awarded to a surgeon of the highest category of the Amangeldy regional hospital Zhanay Ergabylov and a machine operator of the Mechta-98 farm Valery Pavlyukovets.

During the working trip, the Head of Government took part in the opening ceremony of the first in Kazakhstan and unparalleled in Central Asia complex for the processing of decommissioned agricultural machinery of Auto Recycling LLP. The capacity of the enterprise is 4 thousand units of agricultural machinery per year. In this case, the obtained metal will be used for the production of new products. The project will allow updating the agricultural machinery park and will contribute to the development of the processing industry.

The Prime Minister got acquainted with the construction progress of an iron foundry and a plant for the production of main gears for driving axles of KamLitKZ LLP with a capacity of 46 thousand tons of castings and 74 thousand units of main gears for driving axles per year.

Askar Mamin also took part in the opening ceremony of the bridge across the Tobol river on the regional road, Approach to Kostanay. After construction, the length of the bridge was increased from 72 m to 261 m, the width — from 9 m to 24.5 m, which makes it possible to increase the throughput from 11.7 thousand to 24.6 thousand vehicles per day.
