Alikhan Smailov holds meetings on development of Government Action Program for 2022

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov held meetings with management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development on the issues of the development of the Government Action Program for 2022.

The measures proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are aimed at stimulating the inflow of investments and improving the investment climate, concluding agreements with foreign countries on the promotion and mutual protection of investments, and eliminating administrative and legal barriers in the process of attracting foreign investment. The Foreign Ministry will provide information support abroad for new reforms of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The measures presented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs provide for increasing the legal protection of law enforcement officers, restoring the infrastructure and material and technical base of the internal affairs bodies, equipping the local police service, building modular stationary posts and police stations to effectively fulfill the tasks of ensuring public security in the country.

The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development proposed measures for industrialization, including import substitution, digitalization of the housing and communal services system, ensuring the transparency of mechanisms for equity participation in housing construction, reforming the road industry with a reorientation from quantity to quality, developing SMEs in the manufacturing industry around large enterprises, etc.
