About 900 facts of illegal export of fuel and lubricants from Kazakhstan suppressed since year's beginning

Issues of providing the domestic market of Kazakhstan fuel and lubricants considered at a meeting chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar with the participation of the Ministry of Energy, the Agency for Financial Monitoring, the Border Service of the National Security Committee, the State Revenue Committee and NC KazMunayGas JSC.

Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliev and Chairman of the Board of KazMunayGas Magzum Mirzagaliyev informed about the stable situation in the market and sufficient reserves of all types of fuels and lubricants. It was especially noted that the shipment of diesel fuel for spring sowing works to agricultural producers is carried out on a priority basis. 

Deputy Director of the Border Service of the National Security Committee Bauyrzhan Absamatov said that active work is being done to prevent cross-flows and grey exports of oil products. Thus, together with the State Revenue Committee since the beginning of the year at checkpoints identified and stopped about 900 facts of illegal export of fuel and lubricants in the amount of about 130 thousand litres.

Along with this, the Financial Monitoring Agency since the beginning of the year registered 13 materials on illegal sale of fuel and lubricants in the amount of 6 thousand tonnes for the amount of 1.6 billion tenge.

During the meeting it was also noted that at the level of the Government there are agreements with the Russian side on the supply of fuel and lubricants in case of need.

Following the results of the meeting, the First Deputy Prime Minister gave specific instructions to prevent a shortage of fuel and lubricants in the domestic market and to suppress attempts of its illegal export from the country.
