At the government session chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, comprehensive plans for the socio-economic development of the western regions were considered. Akim of the region Nurlan Nogayev spoke about how the plan is being implemented in the Mangystau region.

“In order to implement the current measures as soon as possible and ensure the stability of the socio-political situation in the region, as a result of the ongoing work, the current Comprehensive Plan was updated. As a result of the implementation of the planned measures, about 55 thousand jobs are expected to be created,’’ said Nogayev.

As part of the Comprehensive Plan, special attention is paid to the following two main areas.

First, the demographic growth trend requires special attention to the provision of affordable housing and the development of infrastructure in the region. In this direction, in 2022, 5 reanimobiles will be purchased through leasing, and in 2023-2024, 5 healthcare organizations will be provided with modern medical equipment.
