Alikhan Smailov expresses condolences to family of Shinzo Abe and people of Japan in connection with his tragic death

On Tuesday, July 12, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov visited the Embassy of Japan to share his condolences with the people of this country in connection with the tragic death of a prominent political figure, former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

In a conversation with the head of the diplomatic mission, Jun Yamada, Alikhan Smailov noted that Kazakhstan knows Mr. Abe as a patriot of his country and a politician who has made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh-Japanese relations.

“Shinzo Abe has done a lot not only for the development of Japan, but also for strengthening international cooperation. At this difficult moment, on behalf of the Government of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf, I express my condolences to the family of Mr. Abe and the entire Japanese people,” the Head of the Government said.

During his visit to the embassy, ​​the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan also left a note in the book of condolences.
