Alikhan Smailov holds Economic Demonopolisation Commission meeting

A regular meeting of the Economic Demonopolisation Commission was held at Ukimet Uyi, chaired by Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov.

The discussion was attended by the heads of the central government agencies, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Anticorruption Agency, the Agency for Financial Monitoring, the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition, the Fund Samruk-Kazyna and others.

The participants of the Commission considered the issues of transferring some assets of the railway infrastructure, thermal power complex, as well as a number of enterprises related to the activity of oil refineries to the state ownership.

Following the discussion, the Prime Minister instructed to work through all necessary legal and organizational measures to implement the decisions taken by the Commission.
