November 13 in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the mission of the International Monetary Fund under the leadership of the Head in Kazakhstan Mark Horton.
At the meeting, issues of further development of cooperation with the IMF in the field of technical cooperation and on various issues of macroeconomic prospects, improvement of fiscal and investment policies, including in the framework of the President’s Address “Growing Welfare of Kazakh Citizens: Increase in Income and Quality of Life” were discussed.
Special attention was paid to the structural reforms in the country, the implementation of the large-scale Nurly Zhol program, the 100 Concrete Steps, the privatization program, and the functioning of the Astana International Financial Center.
