Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov reported at the Government session on the work being carried out to supply diesel fuel to agricultural producers for spring field works.

He noted that in January 2026, the Ministries of Energy and Agriculture approved the “Schedule for the Supply of 402.2 thousand tons of diesel fuel for spring field works in 2026” for the period from February 1 to June 30, 2026.

The recommended current price of diesel fuel set by the Ministry of Energy is 263 tenge per liter delivered to the station in the regions. The final price is determined by regional operators and may reach 281 tenge per liter, which is 49 tenge per liter (or 15%) cheaper than retail prices at gas stations.

To ensure transparency and control over the movement of diesel fuel for agricultural producers, the following measures have been implemented:

• Separate PIN codes have been established;
• Diesel fuel is colored yellow, blue, and red;
• A separate virtual warehouse for diesel fuel has been created in the electronic invoicing system.

“As a result, the actual pickup volume decreased from 729 to 602 thousand tons, or by 127 thousand tons (21%). The continuation of this practice ensures the targeted use of diesel fuel for agricultural producers,” Yerlan Akkenzhenov emphasized.

According to the Ministry, from February to April 2026, 204.8 thousand tons (51%) out of the planned 402.2 thousand tons have been shipped.

Schedule for the entire spring field works period in 2026:

• February — 12.7 out of 13.5 thousand tons (94%);
• March — 94.3 out of 114.5 thousand tons (84.3%);
• April — 97.8 out of 125.3 thousand tons (78.3%);
• May — 116.3 thousand tons (planned);
• June — 32.9 thousand tons (planned).

The supply of diesel fuel to agricultural producers remains under constant control of the Ministry of Energy.
