Chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, a Government meeting approved the draft Nationwide Action Plan for the implementation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's Address "Current Tasks of Kazakhstan in a New Historical Cycle".

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin reported on the main directions of the document. The plan covers 96 measures across 12 areas of the country's socio-economic development and provides for a set of measures to implement the Year of Nationwide Construction "Khalyqtyq Qurylys", develop transport and energy infrastructure, modernize housing and public utilities, support industry and the agro-industrial complex, and introduce digital solutions and AI technologies. Individual measures include developing entrepreneurship, improving the tax and financial systems, enhancing the efficiency of public administration, strengthening social support for the population, increasing salaries, and reducing administrative burdens on teachers. Tasks also include establishing new mechanisms for managing strategic resources, developing the capital market, and refining legislation.

Following the vote, the draft Nationwide Action Plan for the Implementation of the President's Address was approved.

“The presented draft Nationwide Action Plan is aimed at high-quality and prompt resolution of tasks in key areas of the Address and initiatives of the Head of State. The Government should focus on ensuring macroeconomic stability, developing industry and the agro-industrial complex, modernizing transport and energy infrastructure, improving the efficiency of social support, and refining public administration,” Olzhas Bektenov noted.

Akimats were instructed to ensure the high-quality implementation of regional infrastructure projects, the construction of social facilities, and the rational use of water resources.

“It is necessary to ensure the timely drafting of bills and their subsequent consideration in the Kurultai. Financing issues for every item of the plan must be worked through. The main task is to execute all measures effectively and on schedule,” the head of the Government emphasized.

The Ministry of National Economy, together with the Prime Minister's Office, was instructed to submit the draft of the relevant Presidential Decree to the Executive Office of the President. Deputy Prime Ministers are to ensure control and coordination of the Plan's implementation according to their assignments.
