July 17 in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the current status of works within the project management of the Third Modernization of Kazakhstan.

At the meeting, issues related to the achievement of indicators and implementation of measures on initiatives under the project management of the akimats of East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Mangistau regions were discussed.

The akims reported on measures taken to implement portfolios of projects and plans for the second half of 2018 to develop transport and logistics, agribusiness, fuel and energy complex, tourism, trade, education, healthcare, mass entrepreneurship, industrialization, technological renewal and digitalization, investment attraction and provision of productive employment. The main socio-economic indicators of the regions, monitoring of the growth rates of the economy, labor productivity, access to markets and export development, the share of public-private partnership in the total amount of financing and modernization of the labor market infrastructure were presented.

In the selector mode, the ministers of the national economy Timur Suleimenov, investments and development — Zhenis Kassymbek, finance — Bakhyt Sultanov, healthcare — Yelzhan Birtanov, labor and social protection of the population — Madina Abylkassymova, culture and sports — Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, information and communications — Dauren Abayev, vice ministers of agriculture Gulmira Issayeva, energy — Magzum Mirzagaliyev and education and science — Bibigul Assylova took part in the meeting.
