According to the minister, 81 % of college graduates in 2024 were employed.

“As part of the Year of Skilled Trades, significant attention is being paid to raising the prestige of vocational professions and enhancing cooperation between colleges and businesses. By the end of the academic year, the number of partner enterprises has increased sevenfold. Today, more than 4,000 enterprises are partnered with 662 colleges, compared to 558 enterprises with 412 colleges last year,” Gani Beisembayev reported.

The material and technical base of 104 colleges has been upgraded. To improve student living conditions, 8 new dormitories with a total capacity of 2,000 beds were opened.

Control has been strengthened to ensure compliance with sanitary norms, food safety regulations, and safety rules related to water, forests, and sports facilities.

Special attention will be given to children from socially vulnerable backgrounds. With the support of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Fund, 10,000 children will receive free summer holidays.

To ensure high-quality summer programs, 120,000 teachers have been trained, and more than 12,000 students and volunteers have been engaged. In several regions, infrastructure is being expanded and new leisure formats introduced, including modular buildings and hands-on masterclasses hosted by colleges.
