Prime Minister Askar Mamin instructs to increase vaccination rate

At the government session chaired by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country was considered.

Minister of Healthcare Aleksey Tsoy reported on the current situation and the progress of vaccination,akims of the West Kazakhstan region Gali Iskaliyev, Atyrau region — Makhambet Dosmukhambetov, Karaganda region — Zhenis Kassymbek reported on the situation in the regions.

At the moment, in Kazakhstan, there is a stabilization in the incidence of COVID-19. The reproductive index of the virus is 0.95. Employment of infectious beds — 33%, intensive care — 26%. There are 6 regions in the red zone: the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, West Kazakhstan, Akmola, Karaganda, Atyrau regions.

To date, 3 million vaccinations have been made in Kazakhstan, of which 2 million people have been vaccinated with the first component, almost 1 million people with the second component. The country has a sufficient supply of vaccines that are being replenished. Measures are being taken to increase the number of vaccination points.

The Head of Government instructed to increase the rate of vaccination of the population.

“Expansion of the vaccination campaign is now the most important task in the fight against the pandemic,” Mamin said.

The Ministry of Healthcare, together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, was instructed to take operational measures to integrate the Ashyq application with the Vaccination module and the vaccination passport in Egov.
