Interdepartmental Commission adopts decisions on work of businesses

Today at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov, taking into account the stabilization of the sanitary and epidemiological situation and in order to reduce the flow of visitors on weekdays, it was decided to allow the work of the following facilities on weekends:

  • beauty salons, hairdressing salons, facilities providing cosmetic services (registration on the infokazakhstan.kz portal, 4 sq.m. per 1 visitor by appointment);
  • fitness centers, sports and recreation centers, gyms, sports complexes, spa salons, saunas, swimming pools (registration on the infokazakhstan.kz portal, occupancy not more than 30%, but not more than 50 people, preliminary registration, observance of the mask regime and social distance);
  • religious sites (individually, without collective events).

As a result of discussions with government agencies, NCE Atameken and domestic producers, the maximum retail price for disposable medical masks was reduced from 80 to 60 tenge, i.e. by 25%.

Also, it was decided to automatically extend the assignment of targeted social assistance in the fourth quarter of 2020 to recipients of the third quarter, without contacting government agencies. This measure will eliminate the mass gathering of people in government agencies, thereby minimizing the risks of infection of citizens with coronavirus infection.

Following the meeting, the deputy prime minister gave a number of other instructions.
