It is necessary to extend experience of Rodina agricultural firm to other peasant farms — Askar Mamin

In the framework of the Aul – El Besigi project, as well as as part of the creation of a “food belt” around the capital, Prime Minister Askar Mamin made a working trip to the Rodina village of Tselinograd district of Akmola region, where he got acquainted with the activities of Rodina Agrofirm LLP.

The head of government examined the agricultural machinery park, the dairy complex and the Rodina agricultural firm's factory, as well as the social infrastructure of the village of the same name — a hockey court, high school, supermarket and comfortable apartments.

“Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pay great attention to the development of villages and the agro-industrial complex. Your agricultural company is one of the leading and exemplary in Kazakhstan, it is necessary to extend the accumulated experience to other peasant farms of the country,” said Mamin.

The head of the Rodina agricultural firm Ivan Sauer reported to the prime minister about plans for further expansion of the enterprise.

The Rodina Agrofirm was established in 2005 on the basis of the state farm of the same name, and is one of the leading peasant farms in Kazakhstan for the production and processing of crop and livestock products. The number of employees in the LLP is 520 people. Over the past three years, the average annual production volume has been 2.52 billion tenge. The agricultural company uses digital technologies for stalling and milking cows, a wind power installation and other advanced technological systems.

The structure of sown areas includes cereals (wheat, barley, oats), oilseeds (sunflower, oil flax) crops, corn for silage, annual and perennial herbs, potatoes, vegetables. The farm has the status of a breeding plant for breeding cattle of black-motley and Holstein-Friesian breeds.
