Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, the first Government session in its renewed composition was held following the elections to the Kurultai. In accordance with the Constitutional Law "On the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the new Minister for Emergency Situations Murat Mukhanov took the oath.

"At the new stage of political and economic modernisation of the country, with the adoption of the new Constitution, we are all obliged to take comprehensive measures for the further socio-economic development of the nation. In all directions and sectors, a systematic and comprehensive implementation of the tasks set by the Head of State should be carried out. The constitutional principles of 'Law and Order' and 'Taza Qazaqstan' must always remain at the forefront. The Government's work must proceed at an accelerated pace with comprehensive measures being adopted. Now is the time to take full responsibility and promptly make necessary decisions to achieve concrete results. We must all fully live up to the high trust of the President," Olzhas Bektenov emphasized.
