A meeting of the Republican Budget Commission was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.

As a result of the meeting, the RBC supported the financing of projects aimed at improving the environment through the creation of forest nurseries, modernisation of the National Hydrometeorological Service and strengthening fire safety.

In addition, a number of projects requiring additional financial support were considered.

Prime Minister instructed the heads of state bodies to strictly control the process and not to allow an unjustified increase in expenses and appreciation of projects. Attention is focused on the need to strengthen the work of programme administrators and to comply with the cost of the project, laid down in the estimated documentation.
