In accordance with the Head of State's instruction, $1 million in humanitarian aid has been allocated to the Republic of Turkey, which suffered as a result of the devastating earthquakes. The relevant Resolution was adopted by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 8 February 2023.

The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to allocate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the emergency reserve of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provided in the national budget for 2023 to eliminate emergency situations of natural and man-made nature in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other states, the amount equivalent to one million dollars.

In turn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall transfer these funds to the Turkish side to a special account in accordance with the procedure established by law.

The Resolution shall take effect on the date of its signing.
