Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held an operative meeting on execution of the Head of State's instructions on taking urgent measures to ensure the security of key military and civilian facilities in connection with the situation around Ukraine with the leadership of the Ministries for Defence, Interior Situations, Emergency Situations, Foreign Affairs, Health, Transport, Energy, Industry and Construction, National Economy, Finance.

Head of the Government has heard the information of the Minister of Defence Ruslan Zhaksylykov on the ongoing work to ensure the protection of strategic and infrastructural facilities and set a number of tasks aimed at strengthening the actions of state bodies. Attention is paid to the preservation of stability and public order, security of transport communication, the activities of life support facilities, etc.

The heads of the authorised structures have been instructed to keep special control over the implementation of the President's instructions on ensuring security and to report promptly on changes in the situation.
