The First Deputy Prime Minister held a meeting on the implementation of the Taza Kazakhstan campaign, where the results of its implementation in 2024 and plans for the current year were considered.
Plans of local executive bodies on providing access of the population to the infrastructure for separate collection of communal waste, development of ecological education, increase of ecological awareness of the population, as well as formation of culture of zero tolerance to environmental pollution and environmental offences were heard.
Special emphasis was placed on the work of akimats, which are primarily responsible for the implementation of this programme.
Roman Sklyar noted the strategic importance of the ‘Taza Kazakhstan’ initiative for the country, emphasising its importance in improving the environmental situation in the country.
"Head of State in his interview on January 3, 2025 stressed that the implementation of this programme should become an important part of the national ideology, requiring responsibility on the part of all government agencies and organisations, especially local executive bodies," First Deputy Prime Minister noted.
Following the results of the meeting, the central and local executive bodies were given a number of instructions for further implementation of the Taza Kazakhstan programme.
