On behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov presented state awards to citizens who made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the country, as well as to strengthening the rule of law and public order.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the adoption of the new Constitution has become a manifestation of unity and cohesion of Kazakhstani society and an important stage of large-scale transformations.

“The Head of State has repeatedly emphasized that the essence of reforms lies not in formal changes, but in improving the quality of life of people, strengthening justice and trust in the state. In the new conditions, the coordinated work of the state apparatus and business is especially important. Only in this way can we ensure the sustainable advancement of reforms and their tangible impact for society,” Olzhas Bektenov noted.

The Order of “Parasat” was awarded to:

• Minister of Justice Yerlan Sarsembayev;
• Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC KazMunayGas” Askhat Khassenov;
• Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” Talgat Aldybergenov;
• First Vice Minister of Culture and Information Kanat Iskakov;
• Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Holding Corp. Timur Turlov.
