Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on the implementation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s instructions.
Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, a meeting of the Alatau City Council was held. Issues of implementing the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Special Legal Regime of the City of Alatau” and the further development of the new city were considered.
At the meeting of the Council for Improving the Investment Climate chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, issues of strengthening interaction between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international business circles were discussed.

At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, issues of railway industry and infrastructure development were reviewed. Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev delivered a report on the phased renewal of the freight and passenger fleet, repair of station infrastructure, expansion of transit potential, and implementation of artificial intelligence systems.

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, during his working visit to North Kazakhstan Region, familiarized himself with the progress of construction of socially important infrastructure: an overpass in the village of Pribrezhnoye, protective dams along settlements, and a multidisciplinary regional hospital in Petropavlovsk.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Nalibayev paid a working visit to Kostanay Region, where he familiarized himself with the pace of development of the industrial and agricultural sectors, as well as the progress of major production and infrastructure projects. During the trip, socio-economic development indicators were analyzed and tasks for the upcoming period were defined.
In execution of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on building a Just and socially oriented Kazakhstan, the Government is carrying out large-scale work to implement support measures for the population.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC “National Investment Holding “Baiterek”. The meeting considered issues of attracting financing for the implementation of investment and infrastructure projects, the development of non-resource exports, and increasing the effectiveness of state support measures for the real sector of the economy.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of Kazakh Tourism Development Ltd. on the development of the Almaty Mountain Cluster.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin held talks with John Lee, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, who arrived in Astana leading a large delegation. The parties discussed prospects for expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, the development of financial partnership, as well as strengthening transport connectivity between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balaeva highlighted the importance of the Almaty Superski project for the development of Kazakhstan’s tourism industry, taking into account modern requirements for safety, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure quality.
As part of the implementation of the Head of State’s instructions, First Deputy Prime Minister Nurlibek Naliyev made a working visit to Karaganda Region, where he inspected the progress of key tasks and familiarized himself with the development of major industrial and energy projects in the region.
In accordance with the President’s instructions, the Government is implementing a comprehensive approach to the development of the agro-industrial complex. Thanks to state support measures, a review of subsidizing mechanisms, and the introduction of advanced foreign experience, Kazakhstan maintains a steady positive trend in key production indicators and growth in the number of farm animals.

The trip was attended by the regional leadership and representatives of relevant organizations.
