Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on the development of Mangystau region. The key task is to fulfil the instructions of the President, voiced in the Address "Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism", to ensure sustainable socio-economic progress through improving the welfare of the population in the regions and addressing strategic objectives.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov got acquainted with transport, logistics and tourism potential of the region within the framework of his working trip to Mangystau region. The seaports of Aktau, Kuryk were visited, as well as prospects for the development of the resort area of Kenderli were considered.
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov within the framework of his working trip to the region of Zhetisu familiarised himself with the socio-economic development of the region and gave a number of instructions on the development of agribusiness, manufacturing, tourism and measures to support SMEs to increase their contribution to the economy.
The Government of Kazakhstan has allocated an additional 22.7 billion tenge from the emergency reserve to eliminate the consequences of spring floods and the restoration of destroyed infrastructure facilities. The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.
Further measures to develop tourism were discussed at the Government session chaired by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.
