The Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov familiarized himself with the project of expansion of the Kaspiy desalination plant for additional water supply in the region as part of a working visit to Mangystau region.
Today at the Government meeting the issue of efficient use of water resources during the growing season was considered. Ministers of Ecology and Natural Resources Zulfiya Suleimenova and Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeyev, as well as regional akims made reports.
The progress of the growing season and the issue of efficient use of water resources were considered at the Government session chaired by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.
On Saturday, May 20, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov held a meeting of the Coordination Council, which considered measures to ensure water supply to settlements.
