Measures to implement the instructions of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, given during a working visit to East Kazakhstan region on October 6, considered at a meeting in the Government.

With the participation of heads of central government agencies and akimat discussed issues of reconstruction of Kandysuyskiy and Uideninskiy reservoirs, as well as inter-farm and on-farm canals on irrigated lands in the region.

Prime Minister emphasized that as a whole in the republic it is necessary to reconstruct a large number of reservoirs, so this work should be carried out step by step. First of all, emphasis should be placed on the most priority projects. 

The meeting also considered the construction of a bridge across the Bukhtarma reservoir, repair work on roads of republican and local importance, road infrastructure to tourism facilities. 

At the same time, the participants discussed the construction of the wholesale and distribution center "Altay", a multidisciplinary hospital complex with a polyclinic in the city of Ridder.

In addition, the issues of attracting investors in the mining and metallurgical complex, improvement of existing hydroelectric power plants and construction of new small stations, ensuring control over the repair work at heat sources and a number of others were touched upon. 

Prime Minister outlined the need to ensure timely implementation of all planned projects.  

"I instruct with the concerned government agencies to ensure work on the restoration of Markakol and Katon-Karagay districts. Together with the Akimat to strengthen interdepartmental cooperation for timely and quality fulfillment of all instructions," he concluded.
